I did my military service at Helsinki Anti Aircraft Regiment in Tuusula July 3, 2000 - June 29, 2001. I spent the recruit period (first two months) at 2. battery and the rest of the army at 4. i.e. BUK battery. I was chosen to BUK Reserve Officer School, a leader course for 5 conscripts at Hyrylä/Tuusula garrison. I became a leader of loader-launcher in SAM (Surface-to-Air Missile) 96 or the Russian BUK-M1 or SA-11 Gadfly anti-aircraft system. I left the army as a second lieutenant. I had two repetitions very soon after the military service, in April and June 2002, 12 days altogether.
